About Polyclubs.com

The goal of Poly Clubs is to bring clubs, research projects, businesses and students to one place to find information. It is NOT intended to take the place of individual club and research websites. Its purpose is to make it easier to find information and bring all the information, such as websites, events and more, to one place. PolyClubs is not a fly-by-night site it will be around just as polyratings is still around, we will advertise different position openings within PolyClubs under the "Classifieds" section, and make sure that there is always someone there to maintain it and keep it going. Following is a list of goals and important dates for PolyClubs.com

1. Have at least 15 active clubs, meaning they should have a description and at least 3 posts, by January 1st, 2006

2. After the above goal is reached, hopefully by the above date, the first week of winter quarter we will go through and cover Cal Polys campus with flier advertising PolyClubs

3. Advertise PolyClubs in the Mustang Daily the 1st week of winter quarter.

4. Find someone interesting in being the webmaster and working to keep polyclubs looking good and up-to-date with technology.

Please show your support by placing the PolyClubs logo on your club fliers.

We will also be advertising PolyClubs at the next career fair and hopefully to several local businesses as a way to find out about clubs and Cal Poly's activities.

PolyClubs success relies on the clubs and research projects to post things, the more active it is, the more successful it will be. Ultimately it is the clubs and research projects who decide if PolyClubs will survive. Any support is appreciated and any ideas, suggestions and comments are accepted and taken into account. We are still looking for ideas on logos and for the flier we will put out winter quarter. We are also looking for people to help post flier, create logos and maintain and program the website, if you are interested go to the member list and email either admin or SPalmer.
